With great pride, I present this extravagant, elegant, bold, and visually striking family home. No matter which room we enter—be it the living room, dining area, study, or bathroom—we fall in love with it instantly.
When I first stepped into the living room, I was greeted by children's drawings on white walls and piles of books. The space was not at all thought through. However, it had great potential: from the dining area, you could comfortably glance into the room, and large windows opened onto a beautiful garden. After discussing the client's needs, we reimagined the interior together. I was able to think in bold colors and large patterns… this was a fantastic opportunity to create something truly impactful.
Once we found the color palette for the starting point, the inspiration came from the magnificent, oversized wallpaper, which led us to choose a turquoise wall color and a unique marble fireplace. From there, everything fell into place—bronze and wood furniture and accessories could be added. I selected the Dutchbone media unit from IDdesign (which every one of my clients has fallen in love with), along with the green armchairs, bronze side table, and the rug.
The study became a sanctuary of calm. It is a space where both men and women come to work with my coaching client. Therefore, it was important for the room to be both masculine and feminine at the same time. The room already featured a silver-grey sofa and a branch-patterned wallpaper. We built on that. From IDdesign, we selected a sleek, masculine chest of drawers, a delicate bird-themed table, and many burgundy accessories, which harmoniously complemented the Egon Schiele paintings, as well as the pink and burgundy cushions.
